Every 15 Minutes

Every 15 Minutes is a two-day program that focuses on high school juniors and seniors. It challenges teens to think about drinking and driving and the impact their decisions have on family, friends, and other members of their community. This emotionally charged workshop features simulations, reenactments, guest speakers, and discussion groups. Learn more about Every 15 Minutes and encourage your local high school to participate.


  • In 2010, Every 15 Minutes was presented at six Contra Costa County High Schools
  • 50 percent of the high schools are concentrated in Central County were the majority of unintentional injury hospitalization occur from motor vehicle accidents in Contra Costa County
  • According to the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, approximately 60 percent of 12th graders have consumed alcohol within the past 30 days
