Internships

Internships provide eligible students with practical work experience in a professional health care setting. They provide career awareness, offer experiences that may help decisions about careers in health care and help identify and develop valuable skills, abilities and aptitudes required in a health care setting.

Job Shadowing

Participants have the opportunity to experience the duties performed by the health care professional they are shadowing the workplace setting. Participants are not permitted to perform work of any kind, including patient care.

HOSA

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a national, professional organization for high school and college students interested in a health care career.
