Scope of Services

There is nothing routine about screening for and treating breast disease. That is why John Muir Health has established out comprehensive, integrated breast health program to provide a continuum of prompt, attentive care for screening, diagnosis, treatment and recovery from breast disease.

John Muir Health bring together advanced diagnostic tools, the latest treatment techniques, and a variety of support services and educational resources conveniently located at our two medical centers.

Following a breast cancer diagnosis, patients are cared for by a team of highly specialized health care professionals who work with the patient, family and primary care physician to determine the best course of treatment. Our nurse educators are available for any client without charges, to assist with information, education, support, resources and navigation through a breast cancer experience. We encourage patients to ask questions, learn about treatment opinions and participate in all decisions about their care.
