Scope of Services

The Medical Imaging Department provides outpatient imaging services to include diagnostic radiography/fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, and CT examinations. A contracted mobile MRI unit provides MRI examinations. Most examinations are performed on infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. EKG services are also provided. The Medical Imaging Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on holidays. A written order is required before an examination can be performed. Many examinations that require patient preparation need scheduled appointments. For an appointment or information, call (925) 308-8123, press option #1 for an appointment and option #2 for information.

We accept most insurance. Certain exams such as CT and MRI may require an authorization number prior to scheduling an exam. You may contact your insurance company or the financial counselors at either the Concord or Walnut Creek campus for verification.

Please note that our staff is unable to provide child care while examinations are performed. It is the patient's responsibility to make child care arrangements prior to having an exam.
