A class for newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families provides information about chemotherapy, what to expect during treatment and strategies to manage potential side effects. Nutritional issues while undergoing treatment are addressed by a registered dietitian. Held on alternate weeks at John Muir Medical Center - Concord and Walnut Creek Campuses. Day and evening classes available.
