Getting a second opinion allows you to not only confirm the diagnosis, but also to get a different perspective on your treatment options. Several different options or pathways of care may be available - by getting a second opinion you will hear all of your options explained by a physician expert.

At John Muir Health we also offer breast cancer and lung cancer patients an opportunity to have their case presented to a panel of medical experts who will review pertinent medical imaging studies, pathology slides and care to date and offer recommendations for treatment or further testing.
