A broad array of home care services is offered 7 days a week. Services include skilled nursing care delivered by a registered nurse who has had special training in cardiac diseases and home care. Also available are staff skilled in physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as medical social workers, wound care specialists, and respiratory care practitioners. The Home Care staff is skilled at caring for individuals with medical and/or surgical cardiac problems. The Home Care staff has a great deal of knowledge of special community resources for individuals and their families dealing with cardiac disease.
