"I graduated last year and am working in the Post Surgical Unit. I came to John Muir Health because of the extensive and comprehensive Versant New Grad Residency Program - it's guaranteed to make sure you're happy and confident as a new nurse. I can't say enough about the support I have received from the highly skilled educators and hospital staff - they make it a great learning environment. It's a good hospital. I love working here and I know I made a good choice."

"I did my residency in Puerto Rico, came to America and joined John Muir Health two years ago. A fellow student had recommended it so highly I knew this was where I should be. The 5-month RN Residency Program, the technology and the collaboration between the multidisciplinary experts - everything about this organization rang bells! Now I work on post-op hips, backs, knees and trauma. The greatest satisfaction is seeing patients' progress on a daily basis, and I get to do it with an A One team that I call "family"!"

"I like the fact that John Muir Health is willing to invest time, money and other resources in new grads. I moved out here to take the five-month Versant RN Program. After graduation they gave us additional training with preceptors so that by the time we finished the orientation, we were ready to be real nurses."

Tuition Reimbursement
It's a fact that pursuing your educational goals can also be expensive. And sometimes, our employees can benefit from additional coursework that supports their current and future work a John Muir Health. For this reason, we offer you tuition reimbursement after completing one year of service. Benefited employees who work a part-time schedule or more can take part in this generous program.

At John Muir Health we encourage our employees to take a leadership role in the community and in our organization. Employees who are pursuing further education, and who meet the selection criteria, tenure and service requirements, may be selected to achieve an award.
