This is a safe, easy heart scan procedure used for cardiac risk assessment. A state-of-the-art CT scanner is used to identify calcifications in the coronary arteries. The scan takes only minutes. Physician referral required.

This unique, private, one-hour appointment gives you a comprehensive screening typically not given by a health-care provider. Get one-on-one education regarding your customized fitness reports and risks for heart disease. Copies of your results are sent to your primary care physician to assist with continuing your preventive care. • Full lipid and glucose screening (must be fasting) • Blood pressure (including peripheral) • Physical Activity Index • Abdominal measurements • Women and Heart Questionnaire, with a five-page custom report • Education session with a cardiac nurse

The Osteoporosis Center, part of the John Muir Physician Network, provides comprehensive services for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. Bone densitometry testing of the spine and hip is offered in addition to peripheral bone density screening of the heel. A resource center with educational materials is available. Physician referral required for spine and hip scans.
