Low-dose screening, hip and spine bone densitometry exams are offered at multiple John Muir Medical Imaging sites located in Brentwood, Concord and Walnut Creek. Physician referral is required. The Osteoporosis Center, part of the John Muir Physician Network, provides comprehensive services for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. Bone densitometry testing of the spine and hip is offered in addition to peripheral bone density screening of the heel. A resource center with educational materials is available. Physician referral required for spine and hip scans.
