The Walnut Creek Marriott is centrally located, and offers free shuttle service to area amenities within a threemile radius, including shopping and entertainment. The hotel is close to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), providing access to San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland and the peninsula. Driving day trips include the wine countries of Napa Valley and Sonoma, as well as the coastal communities of Monterey and Carmel.
Reservations
A block of rooms has been reserved at the rate of $119 plus tax per night until January 18. When calling the Marriott, mention the "John Muir Colorectal Conference" when making your reservations. Requests made after this date will be accommodated on a space and rate available basis.
For online reservations go to www.Marriott.com, and follow the normal procedure for booking a room. On this page where you are inputting the dates of your stay, go to the box labeled "Group Code" and enter special code (JMCJMCA) to receive the group rate set up in the system.
