2008 Best Practice - Administration Award Goes to Nurse Donna Brackley

Donna Brackley, RN, MSN, MA, NEA-BC, has been recognized by the Association of California Nurse Leaders (ACNL) with the 2008 Best Practice - Administration award.

Each year, ACNL recognizes nurse leaders for excellence in nursing leadership and advancement of clinical practice, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to or demonstrating significant support of the nursing profession.

Donna, who works at the John Muir Medical Center in Concord, was nominated by her staff for her dedication to advancing the professional practice of nursing, and her ongoing support for the nurse at the bedside. Best known as the nurses' nurse, she is a determined and persistent advocate for quality patient care and professional nursing practice. Donna will formally receive her award at the ACNL annual conference February 10, 2009, in Monterey.
