Health Fairs are an excellent way to raise awareness of health issues and encourage employees to take positive steps towards better health. Our health professionals perform screenings and provide education that enables employees to improve their health and well being. Healthy employees save employers money, increase productivity, and encourage self-responsibility. Some of the Health Fair services that we offer include:

Cholesterol Screening - Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglyceride and glucose levels are analyzed by a medical professional with a simple, safe finger stick test. Employees receive their results in just five minutes.

Body Composition Testing - This computerized method of body composition testing provides individualized feedback on body fat, muscle mass, body water, metabolic rate, and ideal weight.

Blood Pressure Screening - Determine blood pressure numbers, what affects these numbers and how to control them.

Fitness Screenings - Aerobic capacity, strength and flexibility evaluations provide personalized feedback on how to exercise safely and effectively achieve or maintain optimum fitness.

Balance Testing - A balance assessment can identify postural problems that can result in injuries if not corrected.

Health Risk Appraisal - This computerized evaluation of your health and lifestyle compares your "medical age" to your chronological age. Employees learn how improving their health habits can improve the quality of their life.

Lifting Lab - Employees practice proper body mechanics for work and other activities.

"Ask a Dietitian" - A registered dietitian answers dietary questions ranging from fat grams to herbal supplements.

Corporate Massage - A relaxing shoulder and neck massage is a much appreciated stress break.

Flu Vaccine Clinic - An registered nurse provides the current flu vaccine to protect employees during the upcoming flu season.

Vision Screening - Employees receive a basic vision test to detect visual abnormalities.

Hearing Screening - Employees receive a basic hearing test to detect hearing loss.

Hand-Washing Station - Employees see how proper hand-washing techniques can help them stay healthy and avoid spreading and receiving germs.

Bone Density Screening - Participants receive a T-score, risk for osteoporosis and education informational to reduce risk.
