All gifts made to John Muir Health Foundation are acknowledged by letter. The letter documents your gift and serves as your receipt.
How much of my gift goes directly to help fund programs and equipment at John Muir Medical Center?
Your entire gift goes directly to the program or equipment you designate or Where the Need is Greatest within John Muir Health. John Muir Health Foundation does not retain any portion of your donation.
How does John Muir Health Foundation recognize donor gifts?
When you make a gift to John Muir Health Foundation, you help improve patient care Where the Need is Greatest or help maintain the excellence of a specific program or service. Gifts of all sizes are deeply appreciated and are recognized in the following ways:
- All donor gifts are acknowledged by letter.
- Donors with gifts greater than $100 are recognized in our Annual Report
- Members of the Muir Society, Heritage Society, and Cumulative Giving Circles receive invitations to special donor recognition events, as well as recognition in the lobby of the Medical Center. For more information, see Benefits of Giving.
Will my information be shared or sold to other organizations?
John Muir Health Foundation does not sell its donor list to any other organization or business except for the express purpose of conducting a solicitation mailing on behalf of the Foundation.
