Benefits of Giving
Donors to the John Muir Health Foundation receive a variety of benefits based on giving levels including:
- Invitations to dinners featuring informal talks by physicians
- Invitations to health seminars, financial planning seminars, and other special events
- Recognition in the lobby of John Muir Medical Center
- Recognition in the Foundation's Annual Report
- Foundation newsletter and other health related publications
- Membership in the Heritage Society, Distinguished Friends of John Muir Medical Center, and/or Annual Giving Circles
Donor Recognition Giving Circles
When you make a gift to the John Muir Health Foundation, you help advance the art of healing in our community. Each gift is used to improve patient care Where the Need is Greatest or to maintain the excellence of a specific clinical program or service. Gifts of all sizes are deeply appreciated and are recognized in the following ways:
The Heritage Society recognizes donors whose planned gifts will benefit John Muir Health in the future. Donors are recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors and on the Hall of Friends wall in the Medical Center lobby.
Guarantor's Circle recognizes donors who have made irrevocable future gifts arranged through charitable trusts, life insurance policies and pooled income funds.
- The Platinum Level - irrevocable gifts of $1 million and above
- The Gold Level - irrevocable gifts of $100,000 - $999,999
- The Silver Level - irrevocable gifts of $10,000 - $99,999
Heritage Circle recognizes donors who have made gifts through wills and testamentary trusts.
The Distinguished Friends of John Muir Medical Center are donors who give substantial financial support. A donor may be a member at both the cumulative and annual levels. Donors are recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors and on the Hall of Friends wall in the Medical Center lobby.

- The Chairman's Circle Gold - lifetime gifts of $750,000 - $999,999

- The Chairman's Circle Bronze - lifetime gifts of $250,000 - $499,000
- The Chairman's Circle - lifetime gifts of $100,000 - $249,000
- The President's Circle - lifetime gifts of $50,000 - $99,999
- The Muir Benefactors - lifetime gifts of $25,000 - $49,999
- The Muir Patrons - lifetime gifts of $10,000 - $24,999
The Muir Society
- Muir Society Platinum Plus - annual gifts of $25,000 or more
- Muir Society Platinum - annual gifts of $10,000 - $24,999
- Muir Society Gold - annual gifts of $5,000 - $9,999
