The Hospital Laboratories of John Muir Medical Center, Concord and Walnut Creek campuses are committed to the value "Patients Come First." The goal of Laboratory Services is to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of John Muir Health. Our commitment to service excellence is defined as follows:

Scope of Service

• The Laboratory provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for adult and pediatric inpatients and stat outpatients.
• The Pathology Department is under the direction of pathologists who are board certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology.
• Service is provided by California State licensed clinical laboratory scientists, laboratory assistants, phlebotomists, and histologists.
