John Muir Health offers a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures conveniently located in both hospital medical centers and outpatient settings throughout Central and East Contra Costa County. John Muir Medical Center campuses are located in Brentwood, Concord, and Walnut Creek, with additional outpatient imaging sites located in Concord, San Ramon and Walnut Creek.

Procedures offered include general x-ray, fluoroscopy, CT (Computed Tomography), MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), Full-Field digital and conventional Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Bone Density and ECG/EKG services are also offered at specific sites.

All of our facilities have the capability of viewing images digitally using the Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS). This technology enables us to provide the most accurate diagnosis possible in as little time as possible. It also allows us to compare a current exam with a prior study conducted from any one of our other medical imaging sites.
