Definition:

Traumatic or Acquired Brain Injury - The impairment of normal brain function due to a neurological insult, such as: open or closed brain injury (TBI), select cerebral vascular lesion(s) (i.e., aneurysm, hemorrhage, brain stem stroke), hypoxic event, intracranial tumor, or select neurological diseases (i.e., encephalopathy).
