"Mapping Your Future" Career Events

On October 12, from 4 - 5 p.m. in the Ball Auditorium, John Muir Medical Center will host a free live chat event on the topic, "Finding the School of your Dreams and Gaining Admission." The event is aimed at students and their families seeking information about how to approach the complicated college admissions and career planning process.

A live chat is a session where you may ask questions of experts in the field using webinar technology. A host will field questions and post them on the Mapping Your Future site for a response from the expert panelists. Each participant will receive a transcript of the entire chat. Mapping Your Future is a nationwide, public-service, nonprofit organization providing career, college, financial aid, and financial literacy information and services to students, their families, and schools.

John Muir Medical Center's Human Resources department is sponsoring the event, which allows students to gain the latest information on several career options, including those in the medical field. A drawing will be held for Kaplan Test Preparation Gift Certificate that can be used to purchase SAT or other test preparation courses. This prize is valued at $359.
