PacifiCare Contract Agreement Reached
WALNUT CREEK, CA - John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network, John Muir Medical Center and Mt. Diablo Medical Center have entered into new HMO and PPO contracts with PacifiCare. These contracts are effective immediately.
The medical group and hospitals have been without PacifiCare contracts since December, 2002. PacifiCare members who now wish to join primary care physicians (PCPs) in the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network, and gain full access to both John Muir Medical Center and Mt. Diablo Medical Center, should contact PacifiCare and request to be transferred from their current IPA or medical group to their choice of PCP in the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network.

"We are pleased that we could come to an agreement with PacifiCare and look forward to serving the health care needs of PacifiCare members."
