In Recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month
In recognition of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health System will host a free community health education seminar. This program will be held in the Ball Auditorium at John Muir Medical Center and is co-sponsored by the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health Network.

7 to 8:30 p.m.
Speakers:
- John Rhee, M.D., radiologist, will give an overview of lung cancer and discuss changes in incidence and survival rates in California and the nation as well as the newest screening and detection recommendations.
- Matthew Sirott, M.D., oncologist, will discuss the latest advances in medical oncology.
- William Sweezer, M.D., thoracic surgeon, will speak about advances in surgery.
- Vincent Massullo, M. D., radiation oncologist, will cover the latest advancements in radiation oncology.
