John Muir Health has reached a two-year agreement with Blue Cross on new rates and contract terms for hospital services. Blue Cross patients can continue to access hospital services at John Muir Medical Center's Walnut Creek and Concord campuses.
For the past two years we have been working very hard to reach an agreement that is fair and equitable for John Muir Health and Blue Cross, but that is ultimately best for our patients. Throughout our discussions, our top priority has been, and always will be to provide quality care and access to services for our community. We are pleased that negotiations have been concluded and that our relationship with Blue Cross will continue.
