John Muir Medical Center Wins Consumer Award
John Muir Medical Center's Walnut Creek campus has been named a Consumer Choice award winner in the East Bay for quality and image, a National Research Corporation survey has found.
The research corporation surveyed more than 200,000 households across the nation to select 225 award recipients rated the best by consumers who were asked which local hospitals have the best doctors, nurses and overall quality and image, among other things.
The Walnut Creek campus and Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fremont were chosen as the Oakland-East Bay winners. Other Bay Area winners were Stanford Hospital and Clinics and the UC San Francisco Medical Center.
