Heart Friendly Cities for Women
We are so proud to announce that the San Francisco - San Jose - Oakland area has been ranked the No. 3 most Heart Friendly City for women in the country! We joined forces with Sperling's Best Places to rank our nation's most - and least - Heart Friendly Cities for women.
Evaluated under 22 points, we ranked just below Minneapolis and Washington DC. Ranked highest in access to fresh fruits and vegetables and a walking friendly environment, we are also challenged to improve women's access toget regular heart checkups.
Go Red is thrilled to have two Bay Area hospitals offering FREE screenings to women in our community.
Our community might be one of the healthiest, but that doesn't mean we should rest on our laurels. Let's challenge ourselves to be No. 1!
