H1N1 Flu Vaccine Update

John Muir Health currently has a very limited supply of H1N1 vaccine. We understand that there is a high level of concern about the availability of H1N1 vaccine. Unfortunately, we are only receiving very limited shipments due to production shortages and therefore we are vaccinating those at highest risk first: children and pregnant women.

If you are a patient with a physician who is part of John Muir Medical Group - updates on vaccine availability will be posted as the situation changes. Please check here for updates.

If you are a patient with another physician group, please contact your physician's office to inquire further about vaccine availability.

You may also wish to check the Contra Costa Health Services website (www.cchealth.org) to find information about County H1N1 vaccination clinics.

Contra Costa Health Services has updated information regarding their flu clinics:

• The Concord drive through clinic on Saturday, November 21 has been moved to the Sleeptrain Pavilion.
• The East County clinic has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 6 at the Pittsburg Health Center.
• The San Ramon clinic will be taking place this Saturday, November 21 as scheduled.
• All clinics will be held from 10:00am - 3:00pm while vaccine supplies last.
