Important Message from John Muir Health
Starting Monday, October 19, visitors under the age of 16 or visitors who are ill will NOT be allowed into John Muir Medical Center - Walnut Creek Campus or John Muir Medical Center – Concord Campus
To help protect our patients and staff from the highly contagious H1N1 flu, John Muir Health will limit hospital visitations effective Monday, October 19, 2009 until further notice. Both John Muir Medical Center - Walnut Creek Campus and John Muir Medical Center - Concord Campus will no longer allow visitors under the age of 16 or visitors who are ill to enter the facilities. This is a necessary measure to limit the risks of spreading H1N1 influenza (flu), commonly known as Swine Flu, to our patients and our healthcare staff.
We understand that this restriction can be very difficult for families and friends who have loved ones in our hospitals. We regret the inconvenience of this restriction and appreciate your understanding. Our top priority is the health and safety of patients, healthcare workers and our community.
