The John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek Campus chapel is open 24 hours a day for use by patients, visitors and staff members. In 1995, the John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek Campus Auxiliary commissioned a nationally-known artist to create the chapel's centerpiece stained glass window, entitled Unfolding Life. Visitors are invited to write prayers and other meditations in a meditation book which is available for the spiritual support of all who read it. The chapel is located on the first floor, near the central elevator bank.
