Services Offered by the Spiritual Care Team at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek Campus

Pastoral Care Services is available to address the spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones. Please call on the members of the Pastoral Care team for any of the following services:

• Notifying your clergy member, congregation, or other religious representative
• Ongoing spiritual visits
• A visit before surgery
• A visit in a crisis
• Prayer, Holy Communion or other religious ritual
• Religious literature, including scriptures
• Spiritual support for family and friends

In addition, Pastoral Care Services offers a full range of grief and bereavement support services, as well as a referral service to the area's most comprehensive grief support program.
