Our eICU® Center, John Muir Critical Vision, will provide JMH with critical care services that move care towards the highest national standards. The program will serve to:
- Provide a multidisciplinary team approach
- Automate use of best practices to reduce variation
- Provide an ongoing system to continually measure effectiveness and outcomes
- Demonstrate a reduction in mortality and morbidity
Central Line Infection
Incidents of central line infections due to an infection at the insertion site of the line.
It is ideal to perform below the National Benchmark denoted by the red line.
National Nosocomial Infections Surveillance System (NNIS) is the National Comparison Benchmark.
Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAPs)
Instances of patients who got pneumonia from being on a ventilator, often in the ICU.
It is ideal to perform below the National Benchmark denoted by the red line.
