The John Muir Health Rehabilitation Departments are focused on delivering the highest quality care for patients throughout their treatment experience. Both the in-patient rehabilitation unit and the 5 out-patient rehabilitation units located throughout the county are accredited by the Joint Commission and were inspected and licensed by the California Department of Health Services. Staffed completely by licensed clinical staff, the Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists are either masters degree prepared or have completed doctoral programs. In addition, the majority of the rehabilitation nurses on staff are Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurses.
