Introduction to Mindfulness

Mindfulness is paying friendly attention to our daily experience with openness, curiosity and a willingness to be with what is, just as it is. When we practice mindfulness, we are able to be aware of the thoughts and reactions that can be the cause of our suffering. An increasing number of research studies show that practicing mindfulness for short periods each day result in many physical, psychological, and social benefits.

Introduction to Mindfulness will help you understand the effects of physical and psychological stress on the quality of all areas of your life, and how cultivating mindfulness can improve your health and well-being, no matter what challenges are present in your daily experience.
*Enrollment in the Introduction to Mindfulness class prior to the 5-week series is encouraged but not required
