Many people don’t show symptoms of lung cancer until it has advanced to late stages when it’s often too late to treat. Even if you’re a non-smoker, it’s important to work with a primary care doctor to assess your risk factors.

Risk Factors to Discuss:

  • Smoking cigars, pipes, cigarettes (regular or menthol), marijuana, e-cigarettes / vaping, talc and talcum powder
  • Exposure to secondhand smoke, radon gas or asbestos in buildings
  • Genetics or family history of lung cancer
