A monthly meeting sponsored by NAMI Contra Costa formerly know as the Alliance for the Mentally Ill. Opportunity to hear speakers talk on a variety of subjects relating to the treatment of various mental illnesses, library books available, information on various treatment programs, etc.
Mental Illness Family and Caregivers Support Group

An educational support and rersource group for families, friends and caregivers of the mentally ill with information about resources, treatment, medications, social security, conservatorship and other important topics. Meets at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek in the Sterns Conference Room. Sponsored by NAMI aka The Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Contra Costa. Co-facilitated by a board certified psychiatrist.
