For asymptomatic individuals, there is currently no routine screening test for esophageal cancer. However, patients considered at high risk for esophageal cancer, including those with Barrett's Esophagus, should discuss with their physician whether ongoing monitoring via diagnostic tests such as endoscopy is warranted. Regardless of any surveillance schedule your physician has established, do not delay seeking medical help if you should experience swallowing difficulties or any of the other symptoms.

We are here for education, support and to help you navigate your way through your diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
