Can I get screened?

For asymptomatic individuals, there is currently no routine screening test available for stomach cancer. However, patients considered at high risk for stomach cancer should discuss with their physician whether ongoing monitoring via such diagnostic tests as endoscopy is warranted. Regardless of any surveillance schedule your physician has established, do not delay seeking medical help if you should experience any of the symptoms of stomach cancer.
