Because advanced stomach cancer is very difficult to treat, it is important to see your doctor as soon as possible if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms. Having one or more of these symptoms does not necessarily mean that you have stomach cancer; there are a number of disorders - such as peptic ulcers - that can cause some of the same symptoms. Your physician will arrange for the appropriate diagnostic tests to ensure that a proper diagnosis can be made and treatment can be initiated at once.
