A class for newly diagnosed cancer patients and their families provides information about chemotherapy, what to expect during treatment and strategies to manage potential side effects. Nutritional issues while undergoing treatment are addressed by a registered dietitian. Held on alternate weeks at John Muir Medical Center, Concord Campus, and John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek Campus. Day and evening classes available.
