New Retiree Health Savings Plan Benefit

Effective January 1, 2006

The wisdom and experience that come with age are assets that we treasure. At John Muir Health, our older, longer service employees continue to provide us with much of the talent we need to care for our patients and thrive as an organization.

To reward our employees for their continued service and to encourage them to continue contributing their talents while they are willing and able we are introducing a new employee benefit, the Retiree Health Savings Plan, effective January 1, 2006.

Through this new benefit, John Muir Health will make contributions into an account that an employee can use to pay for their health care expenses once they have retired. The longer the employee stays with John Muir Health, the more contributions to his or her account. This program is in addition to any other John Muir Health benefits the employee might have, including the pension plan or 403(b) savings plan account.
