Nurse is Finalist for "NurseWeek" Nursing Excellence Award

A Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist on the Walnut Creek Campus, is a finalist for the "NurseWeek" Nursing Excellence Award for "Advancing and Leading the Profession."
The award is for those RNs who have led, advanced, and/or strengthened nursing, either as a profession or in the delivery of patient care.
Valerie was nominated for the award by Meredith Pence, Executive Director of Women's and Children's Services. "Valerie is an accomplished problem solver and self-starter with strong goal direction and outcome orientation," said Meredith in her nomination. "She is especially successful in program development, team building and organization skills and she uses her extensive experience in developing and conducting educational programs."
The award will be announced September 28, in Costa Mesa.
