Tuition Reimbursement*

We encourage employees wishing to expand their healthcare career horizon. That's why we provide tuition reimbursement of up to $2,500 each year for full time employees ($1,250 for part time) who are pursuing work-related and career enhancing education.

Student Loan Forgiveness

We believe the opportunity to learn and grow is critical to our employees. We offer the opportunity for new hires and current employees who have just completed an advanced education program in high demand areas to have part of their student loan forgiven.

Medical Imaging: Sonography, Radiology Technology, and Nuclear Medicine.

• $5,000 per year, with a $15,000 lifetime cap

Nursing, ADN, RN to BSN, BSN, MSN, Clinical Laboratory Science, M.B.A., Physical Therapy

• Up to $15,000 per calendar year with a lifetime cap of $30,000.

Doctor. of Pharmacy

• Up to $25,000 per year with a life time cap of $100,000.

Employment Scholarship Award Program

The John Muir Health Employee Scholarship Award Program, awards scholarships to help eligible, selected employees pay tuition, books and fees for up to one year of work-related education in approved courses of study at affiliated institutions. (Per diem employees are not eligible for an award.)

If you are selected to receive an award, you may receive:

• Up to $2,500 for the year to pursue an approved Associate Degree
• Up to $5,000 for the year to pursue an approved Bachelor's Degree
• Up to $7,500 for the year to pursue an approved Advanced or Post-Baccalaureate Degree

Work/Study Program

We know it is challenging in today's environment to enter a full-time educational program, to work and to manage personal obligations. Employees who meet tenure and service requirements can apply to enter the Work Study Program and if they are selected to participate they will receive release time from work while maintaining their current rate of pay and benefits.

Positions may be available for employees who wish to attend an RN-BSN, BSN, MSN, Medical Imaging, Clinical Laboratory Science, Respiratory Therapy Program, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy or other hard to fill positions.
