The Birth Center
The Birth Center specializes in high- and low-risk obstetrics. It features 10 Labor-Delivery-Recovery rooms as well as a Level III NICU. The on-campus Center is staffed 24 hours/day by Obstetricians, Anesthesiologists and Pediatricians. Also attending around the clock, are Perinatologists and Neonatologists. The Center also features: two high-risk labor rooms, two operating rooms for caesarian section and postpartum tubal litigations, and 12 antepartum beds for pre-term labor at-risk patients. After recovery, patients are moved to one of 34 private, postpartum rooms, where fathers are encouraged to stay 24 hours/day.
