This is an ongoing offering. This is a class for mainly newly diagnosed cancer patients who will be treated with chemotherapy. The first hour is the fundamentals of managing the possible side effects of chemotherapy - taught by an experienced oncology nurse. The second hour is focused on the nutritional needs of the cancer patient going through treatment - taught by a registered dietician experienced in oncology. The program is staffed by International Board Certified Breastfeeding Consultants and certified breastfeeding educators.
