Emergency Medical Help in the Event of a Disaster
We want to reassure you that John Muir Health will be there for you and your family in the event of a disaster.
Emergency Departments at John Muir Health are staffed around the clock by board-certified emergency medicine physicians who are supported by nurses and technicians specially trained in providing emergency care. John Muir Medical Center serves as the base station for Contra Costa County, and is in direct contact with paramedics while they are on the way to the hospital. John Muir Medical Center, Concord Campus has one of the largest Emergency Departments in Contra Costa, treating nearly 50,000 patients a year.
Note: All obstetrical services for John Muir Health are now provided at John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek Campus. This service is no longer available at John Muir Medical Center, Concord Campus.
