Many leading corporations have teamed up with John Muir Health's Corporate Health program in Walnut Creek. Our Corporate Health program is for employers primarily in Contra Costa County and focuses on the delivery of onsite health promotion and wellness services.
Our experienced staff of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, and health educators, design customized prevention programs for corporations of all sizes. We can deliver our programs at your location or ours; whichever is more convenient for you.

Health Fairs are an excellent way to raise awareness of health issues and encourage employees to take positive steps toward their better health. Our health professionals will perform screenings and provide education that will enable your employees to improve their health and well being. Healthy employees save employers money, increase productivity, & encourage self-responsibility on the part of the employee. Some of the Health Fair services that we offer include:
Cholesterol Screening - Total, HDL, LDL, Trigylceride and glucose levels are analyzed by a medical professional with a simple, safe finger stick test. Employees receive their results in just five minutes.
Body Composition Testing - This computerized method of body composition testing provides individualized feedback on body fat, muscle mass, body water, metabolic rate, and ideal weight.
Blood Pressure Screening - Determine blood pressure numbers, what affects these numbers and how to control them.
Fitness Screenings - Aerobic capacity, strength and flexibility evaluations provide personalized feedback on how to exercise safely && effectively to achieve or maintain optimum fitness.
Balance Testing - A balance assessment can identify postural problems that can result in injuries if not corrected.
Health Risk Appraisal - This computerized evaluation of your health and lifestyle compares your "medical age" to your chronological age. Employees learn how improving their health habits can improve the quality of their life.
Lifting Lab - Employees will practice proper body mechanics for work & other activities.
"Ask a Dietitian" - A Registered Dietitian will answer dietary questions ranging from fat grams to herbal supplements.
Corporate Massage - A relaxing shoulder and neck massage is a much appreciated stress break.
Flu Vaccine Clinic - An RN provides the current flu vaccine to protect employees during the upcoming flu season.
Vision Screening - Employees can have a basic vision test performed to detect visual abnormalities.
Hearing Screening - Employees will receive a basic hearing test to detect hearing loss in adults.
Handwashing Station - Employees can see how proper handwashing techniques can help them stay healthy and avoid spreading and receiving germs.
Bone Density Screening - Participants will receive T-score, risk for osteoporosis and education informational to reduce risk.
