The John Muir Behavioral Health Center, is a State Licensed Facility, accredited by the Joint Commission and provides detoxification and treatment for alcohol and substance abuse.

Assessment: The assessment staff provides an initial assessment of a person's medical condition, as well as history of use, available support, factors that may impair a persons motivation, and denial associated with resistance to a recovery process. Following this assessment a determination is made as to the appropriate level of treatment that is required.

Insurance: The Center for Recovery is a preferred provider for many insurance companies. The assessment specialist will facilitate the explanation of the person's benefit, as well as secure the authorization necessary by most companies to begin treatment. The patient's financial responsibilities will be explained at that time.
