The assessment department at the John Muir Behavioral Health Center for Recovery can help answer the questions that you may have about the programs for drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

What will happen when I call?

  1. There will be a brief confidential assessment over the phone, followed by setting an appointment with one of the assessment specialists. This is a free service.
  2. During the confidential assessment, clinical information will be gathered to assist in the appropriate level of treatment. This is also a time when there can be a determination as to whether or not medical intervention is necessary to assist in the safe withdrawal from the substance of abuse.
  3. The assessment will be reviewed with you, and the recommended levels of care will be explained. The Center for Recovery has levels of programming that should be able to accommodate the needs of most individuals.
  4. At this time, the specialist will assist in the utilization of your healthcare benefits. The Center for Recovery is contracted with most insurance providers and in some cases is a preferred provider. (Please review our provider list for your provider.)
  5. The Center for Recovery is also well versed in working with the human resource departments and employee assistance professionals that may be making a recommendation to assist their company's employees.
  6. All of these interactions are covered by the federal regulations that protect an individual's right to privacy in these matters. Information will not be shared without your expressed written consent.
