Course Description

This course will provide a general overview and update of current Orthopedic Treatments available for conditions of the Spine, Shoulder, Elbow, Hip, Knee, and Hand.
Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participant should be able to:
- State a general understanding of treatment options for Orthopedic
conditions effecting the spine, knee, hip, upper extremity and shoulder.
- Outline the current evidence-based practice guidelines for available
treatments for the above conditions.
- Discuss the integration of orthopedic principles into medical practice.
- Identify appropriate candidates for orthopedic surgery referral.
Who Should Attend?
Primary Care Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other Health Care Professionals with interest in Orthopedics.
