The John Muir Osteoporosis Center, part of the John Muir Physician Network,
provides comprehensive services for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of
osteoporosis. Bone densitometry testing of the spine and hip is offered, in
addition to peripheral bone density screening of the forearm and heel. A
resource center with educational materials is available.

Osteoporosis Testing
Low-dose bone densitometry scans of the hip and spine are offered
Monday through Friday at John Muir Medical Center, Concord Campus. A
physician referral is required.

Facilitated by a Physical Therapist, this class teaches you safer and bone strengthening exercises. Available at Multiple Locations.
