Balance Improvement Class

This class is for patients with mild balance impairments who want to continue exercising under the supervision of skilled therapists. Caretakers may need to be present if participants need assistance getting on or off equipment. Participants must meet the following criteria: Medical release signed by an M.D., stable vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, respiration), six months or more after date of stroke (post cerebral vascular accident (stroke), completed treatment in a one-on-one therapy program.

Basic Pilates Mat Class

Treatment using computer monitoring of muscle tension, skin temperature and other physical signs to retrain movement patterns and decrease pain from repetitive strain and associated injuries.
