A Home Health Visit is offered to all patients delivering at John Muir. These nurse experts come to your home between 3-5 days after discharge and assess both you and your baby. Breastfeeding help is also offered. Many home health nurses are specialty trained in lactation support and counseling.

Please note: Home visits are not available in all locations.
